Little Free Library opening

The grand opening of the Little Free Library at Washington Elementary School is set for 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 6. Though the District 75 school libraries are closed for the summer, the new Little Free Library outside of Washington School at 122 S. Garfield Ave., will be open and stocked all year round. No library card is required just "Bring a Book and Take a Book" or borrow a book and return it to the box near the flagpole. This Little Free Library will be stocked with gently used children's books from the Fremont Public Library and maintained by the Washington School reading specialists.
