'Family Olympics' in Gurnee

Gurnee Park District hosts its Family Olympics event Wednesday, July 20, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Hunt Club Park Aquatic Center, 900 North Hunt Club Road in Gurnee. Formerly known as the Toddler Olympics, the event is an opportunity for families with children ages 3 and up to compete in a variety of events and themed activities. These activities will include games, arts and crafts, and open swim. Preregistration is required and can be completed online at GurneeParkDistrict.com or at Viking Park or Hunt Club Park community centers. The participation fee includes activities and dinner for all preregistered participants. The fee for residents is $8 per person and $10 per person for nonresidents.
