Motorcyclist hurt in crash near Oak Brook

A motorcyclist was injured Saturday night on the Tri-State Tollway near Oak Brook after his vehicle was struck by a car, authorities said.

About 6:20 p.m., the driver of the 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle attempted to change lanes on southbound Interstate 294 south of 22nd Street after getting a flat tire. But as he did, his motorcycle was struck by a 2004 Saturn traveling straight in the right lane, according to Illinois State Police.

The motorcyclist was taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove for treatment of his injuries.
