Round Lake teachers take summer school
Round Lake Area Unit District 116 is wrapping up a summer autism workshop for its employees and others from across Lake County.
Officials said the 40-hour workshop provided specific instruction on how to work effectively with students with autism and other disabilities.
District 116 had 29 employees in the program, officials said, with another 12 coming from the schools in Zion, Fox Lake, Antioch and the Lindenhurst area. Five District 116 students served as models for the training.
