Warriors for Emily to host carnival benefit July 30

On Saturday, July 30, Tovar Snow Professionals of East Dundee will host a fundraising carnival for the Warriors for Emily. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Snow Angels Farm, 9 Porter School Road, Barrington Hills.

Warriors for Emily is a group that was started to benefit Emily Giovingo and her family. She is the 15-year-old daughter of a fellow employee that has worked with Tovar for several years. In April, Emily was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, a type of soft tissue cancer. All of the event proceeds will be used to help cover Emily's medical costs.

Admission to the event is $5 or free for age 15 and younger. It will include a meal and a raffle ticket.

Activities at the event will include an auction and raffle, a bouncy house, food, games and much more!
