Chinese students tour ADM facility in agriculture program
DECATUR, Ill. (AP) - A group of students from the Beijing University of Agriculture is spending three weeks studying agriculture management at the University of Illinois this summer.
As part of their stay, the 16 students spent Monday touring the James R. Randall Research Center Archer Daniels Midland Co. in Decatur.
According to the Herald & Review (http://bit.ly/28M1tno ), students listened to presentations on freight and product delivery as well as food research.
Student Floyd Chen said he took the opportunity to ask a number of questions. Chen said presentations and speeches he is accustomed to in China usually do not include the chance to ask questions.
The students previously visited ADM's facilities in Beijing.
