'Discover: Space' offers 'Special Needs Saturday'

People with special needs and their families are invited to blast off and explore the exhibit "Discover: Space" in this all-inclusive family event at Gail Borden Public Library, 270 N. Grove Ave. in Elgin.

Explore and enjoy the interactive displays, view an astronaut suit, and see a real moon rock - all in an intimate setting during the library's quieter hours. As a special bonus, there will be a sensory storytime and craft. All ages are welcome; family members must stay together.

Sensory Storytime & Craft will be held from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. in the Meadows Community Room. There will be time to browse the exhibit from 9 to 9:30 a.m. and 10:15 to 11 a.m.
