Mundelein farmers market to open
The 2016 Mundelein farmers market runs from 3 to 7 p.m. beginning Friday, June 17 through Oct. 7, on the north half of the Santa Maria Church parking lot on Route 45 between Crystal and Courtland streets. With the new layout, Mundelein Community Connection, which operates the market, expects to have 30 to 35 vendors each week. A local business and nonprofit group also will be featured each week.
