Messemer, a Barrington High School Senior and student in the performing arts at Barrington High School.

Established in 2011, this is the sixth Galfer Award to be presented and is named in honor of Richard C. Johnson, the founder of the Performing Arts program at Barrington High School and Beth and Michael Galfer, for their generous support of the performing arts at Barrington High School.

The $1,000 award recognizes a graduating senior for their participation and leadership in the performing arts at Barrington High School.
