Fashion luncheon raises for AVON Foundation

Submitted by Ela Township

Ela 55+, Ela Township's senior program, hosted its inaugural Celebration of Life Fashion Show and Luncheon at the Ela Community Center in Lake Zurich on May 21.

The well-attended event raised funds for the AVON Foundation for Women and the American Cancer Society.

All of the models were members of Ela 55+ and are currently fighting cancer or are cancer survivors. The fashions were provided by House of Betty Jane, White House Black Market and Lucy. The event also included a silent auction and raffle for donated gift baskets.
