Cary-Grove High School held its graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 28, at the school in Cary.

Taylor Gajewski has her cap straightened Saturday before Cary-Grove High School's graduation ceremony at the school. "It feels good to be graduating," Gajewski said. "But it's also kind of sad to be done. I'll definitely miss the art department and the teachers the most. I've been in the department for 3 years, so I've gotten to know the teachers and all the art students very well." Gajewski plans to attend Harper College. Morgan Timms/mtimms@dailyherald.com

Jacob Limpus performs "March and Procession of Bacchus" by Leo Delibes on the tuba with the Cary-Grove wind ensemble during the Cary-Grove High School graduation ceremony at the school Saturday. Limpus has been playing the instrument for nine years. "I'm very excited to finally graduate," he said. "I've been to all the ceremonies throughout high school, so it's really fun to finally be the one graduating. The band has given so much to me and to finally be able to play in my last concert is really something special." Limpus plans to attend Colorado School of Mines and said he would love to play in the college's marching band. Morgan Timms/mtimms@dailyherald.com

Graduates Jamie Fletcher and Matt Price share a kiss Saturday before Cary-Grove High School's graduation ceremony at the school in Cary. Fletcher and Price have been dating for one year and plan to attend Indiana University and the University of Illinois respectively. Both said they felt excited, but scared to graduate. "I'll miss being able to see my friends every day and just being able to see their friendly faces all the time," Price said. Morgan Timms/mtimms@dailyherald.com
