Baseball: Glenbard North wins; Naperville North, Addison Trail eliminated

Glenbard North 12, Hoffman Estates 8:

Home runs by Alex Taylor and Zach Bachara led a 17-hit attack from the Panthers (9-26), who advanced to Wednesday's Class 4A Hoffman Estates regional semifinals to face top-seeded St. Charles North. Bachara also doubled and drove in 6 runs. Zach Heck and Anthony Sottile went 3-for-4. Neal Shah gutted out the complete-game victory.

Romeoville 6, Naperville North 3:

Spartans pitcher Kyle Massaro struck out 12 to help upset No. 14 Naperville North (16-15). They'll play No. 3 Naperville Central in Wednesday's Class 4A Bolingbrook regional semifinals. Christian Barczi went 3-for-4 with a homer and 2 RBI for the Huskies. Brennan Simek had 2 hits.

Rolling Meadows 7, Addison Trail 0:

The Blazers (14-17) fell in the Class 4A Lake Park regional quarterfinals after the Mustangs' Alex Rezny pitched a 2-hitter with 9 strikeouts.
