Des Plaines holds Spring Fun Fair
Des Plaines got ideal weather for its ninth annual Spring Fun Fair, which offers a variety of family friendly activities and is put on by community organizations in the community.
Highlights include the Pooch, Pet & Pedal Parade, Touch-a-Truck event, and a climbing wall. Other activities included a giveaway of 100 kids bike helmets, a kids 50-yard dash, an obstacle course, a chance to board a 20-foot sailboat, games and crafts. The event was held at the Mountain View Adventure Center, 510 E. Algonquin Road.
