McFun for Greenbrook Elementary

On Thursday, May 19th, Greenbrook held a McTeacher's Night fundraiser at the McDonald's in Hanover Park. The McTeacher's Night was a fun way to bring Greenbrook together and have the opportunity to meet the parents of students and members of the community while raising funds for the school. And what a wonderful night Greenbrook had, as the restaurant was full of families supporting the school as well as waiting to see their teachers, and a visit from Ronald McDonald. Teachers had so much fun at this community event where they were able to interact with families and students. An amazing thirty-two teachers and staff worked from the school. The McTeacher jobs included, greeting guests, working the front counter, serving drinks, serving ice cream and selling delicious apple pies. McTeachers had it all covered, and the families enjoyed a great evening. The school plans to use the money raised to support the school. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out in their support. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the McDonald's in Hanover Park. Special thank-you goes to Michaele Post, who organized the entire event. The McTeacher's Night was courtesy of the Hanover Park McDonald's owner/operator, Jan Nelson.
