Check out College of Lake County's proposed budget

College of Lake County's proposed budget will be on display for public inspection until it goes to a vote next month. Officials said the proposed $102.5 million operating budget for the fiscal year starting July 1 can be viewed in Room A100 at the Grayslake flagship campus. On June 28, the CLC board will hold a public budget hearing at 6 p.m., followed by a formal vote on the document. "We strive to keep the lowest possible cost to the taxpayer while at the same time continuing to offer quality education for students throughout Lake County," CLC board Chairman William Griffin said in a statement. "That has been especially difficult with the uncertainties of state funding."
