Hoffman Estates has concert for older adults - and dogs

A concert for older adults, with well-known Chicago musician Jack Kramer playing a mix of jazz, classical and popular hits, will be held 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 14, at the Hoffman Estates village hall, 1900 Hassell Road. Kramer worked with musical greats Aretha Franklin and Barry Manilow, among others, and performed in a popular party band.

After the show, several well-behaved and friendly dogs from Therapy Dogs International will be there to interact with the audience, offering their trademark love and companionship. Snacks, coffee and tea will be provided.

The concert is free, but RSVP by Monday, May 9, as space is limited. Contact Abigail Kopelman at (847) 781-4861, or by email at abigail.kopelman@hoffmanestates.org.
