Highland Park art center hosts annual gala May 5
The Art Center Highland Park, 1957 Sheridan Road, will host "The Art of Expression" exhibit during its 56th annual gala and fundraiser at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 5.
The gala supports major operating expenses for The Art Center, a not-for-profit community art center committed to art education and enrichment for people of all ages, as well as art scholarships, classes, workshops, exhibitions, programs and events.
"The Art of Expression" depicts massive fields of color, shape, texture and spirit by contemporary artists whose works are represented by McCormick Gallery Chicago.
Individual tickets are $150 or $130 for members, and are available at www.TheArtCenterHP.org or (847) 432-1888.
