ChildServ to host free Community Health Fair

ChildServ, a historic nonprofit in Chicago helping children to heal from trauma, will host a free community health fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at the First United Methodist Church, 128 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Waukegan.

"The community health fair ensures that children and families have access to important services that will help them build better lives," said Dan Kotowski, president and CEO of ChildServ.

"We invite residents of Waukegan and the surrounding communities to take advantage of this opportunity to improve their health and well-being."

The fair will feature an array of health and safety activities for all ages, including: complimentary diabetes screenings, blood pressure checks, and fire safety tips. Local fitness pro Raquel Lopez will lead a Zumba class at no cost to participants, and free children's books will also be available while supplies last.
