Night life events: Adult milk and cookies night at Wild Monk

Time for milk and cookies, kids. And by milk, we mean milk stout beer. And by kids, we mean adults 21 and older. Firestone Walker Brewing Company hosts an adult milk and cookies beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 19. Purchase a pint of Velvit Merlin Oatmeal Stout for $7 and get cookies from Brown Butter Cookie Co. Also on tap will be Liponic Distortion IPA. Wild Monk is at 88 S. La Grange Road, La Grange. Karma Club now open

A new late-night dance club recently opened in Downers Grove: Karma Club. Stop in for champagne Saturdays. Specials are 10 percent off bottles of champagne, 2 for 1 bottles of champagne, $6 Patron shots and $5 well cocktails. Hours are 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
