Teens cook up fun at Bartlett Library

The Bartlett Public Library hosted a cooking club program for teens Wednesday, April 13, where they got to try their hands at an easy-to-make meal.

The recipe they followed was for an inside out pizza, which is similar to how a quesadilla is made. The recipe called for two tortilla shells, shredded cheese, tomato sauce, pepperoni and turkey slices, olives, red peppers and tomatoes.

The teens got to pick and choose what ingredients they wanted on their inside out pizza. Some had just the cheese and tomato sauce, while others piled their concoctions high with different vegetables. After they finished putting it together, the little pizza went in the microwave for a short time.

The next teen program at the Bartlett library is "Resume Workshop" at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20. Drop in to learn about creating your resume. If you have one started, bring it in. This program is for teens and college students.
