Literature Comes to Life program at Adler Park School in Libertyville

Storyteller Chris Fascione brought his Literature Comes to Life program of folk tales and fun to Adler Park School in Libertyville on Tuesday.

After warming up the crowd of kindergarten through fifth-graders with juggling and jokes, he presented folk tales from around the world. Audience participation and imagination were key parts of the program.

Fascione, who lives in Oak Park, emphasized the importance of reading, teamwork, community and visiting the local library.
