Bartlett Library upgrades to new website design

The Bartlett Public Library District recently changed their website design. The new layout was launched on Sunday, April 10.

The website change made sense due to the Library's recent over $1 million renovation project completed in January 2016. The last time the Bartlett Library updated their website was over five years ago.

I.T. Assistant Manager Bridgett DeJohn put the website together with the help of many other library staff members.

"This website has a much cleaner look to it," DeJohn said. "Our old one seemed a bit too cluttered. Patrons were having a hard time navigating it in order to locate the information that they needed."

From the new homepage, patrons can utilize the library's WiFi printing, reserve a study room, search the library catalog with ease and more. Upcoming events are listed on the right side, as well as in the scrolling picture section on the top.

Many pages can be accessed just from being on the home page, but if additional help is required, the "Contact Us" link on the bottom will connect patrons to the department they need.
