Can't abide Rauner's stand on Trump

Gov. Rauner, I am extremely disappointed to read that you would support Donald Trump if he is named your party's candidate for president.

And the reason you gave, that you are the leader of the Republican Party for Illinois, is reprehensible. Your oath of office is to the people of this state, not the Republican Party.

You asked for Democrats to vote for you when running for office, yet you put party lines above all else in your potential support to a racist, misogynistic, narcissistic Trump.

I am one of those Democrats that voted for you, knowing that a more bipartisan approach to governing Illinois was (is still!) needed. I have supported you in your battles with a Democratic-controlled state House and Senate, feeling compromise was sorely needed. But now, based on your hypocrisy, that support is gone.

It appears your true motives are much different from you advertised. You have lost my support and vote. I hope others feel the same.
