Find out what's happening to voting rights with Orr, Berman program

Cook County Clerk David Orr and Ari Berman, author of "Give Us The Ballot: The Modern Struggle for Voting Rights in America," will discuss voting rights in a free program, at 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 4, at Three First National Plaza, 70 W. Madison, Seminar Room (4th Floor), Chicago.

Berman's book addresses the issues facing voting rights in today's democracy, and the significant events and challenges since the passage of the Voting Rights Act in 1965.

Also participating in the program is Chicago Votes, a nonprofit focused on getting voters registered, voting rights, ease of voting and other issues.
