Power restored in Sleepy Hollow after car crashes into utility pole
Power has been restored to about 50 Sleepy Hollow homes that were affected Tuesday night after a car crashed into a utility pole earlier in the afternoon.
Sleepy Hollow Road was closed between Crane Drive and Thorobred Lane while ComEd crews worked to repair the downed power lines. The single-vehicle crash occurred about 1:30 p.m. The driver was not injured, according to the Rutland-Dundee Fire Protection District.
According to ComEd's online outage map, power has been restored.
