Washington Early Learning Center addition

Parents and community members are invited to stop by Washington Early Learning Center, 122 S. Garfield Ave., Mundelein, between 6:30 and 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 10 to learn more about the planned addition of eight new classrooms this summer.

The Mundelein District 75 Board of Education approved $680,000 for a 70 foot by 120 foot building assembled with nine modular units. The new wing will connect on the west side of the existing school through a new hallway.

Superintendent Andy Henrikson and Principal Mary Beth Licke will be on hand to discuss the project and show parents pictures and drawings of the addition's inside and outside structure.
