Huntley High Medical Club hosts banquet for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

The Huntley High School Medical Club hosts a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society fundraising banquet from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at Jameson's Charhouse, 12860 Del Webb Blvd., Huntley.

The banquet is in honor of Justin Domingo, a Huntley High senior and football player recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

"We want to help our community to the best of our abilities. By holding this event we will not only help our fellow student, but rather future individuals facing this malignant disease," said Brian Russo, an executive member of the medical club.

Tickets for the formal attire event are $20. A three-course dinner will be served, plus live entertainment, guest speakers and a raffle.

Money raised will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Domingo family.
