Grayslake blood drive

Grayslake Fire Protection District will co-host a blood drive Saturday, Feb. 27. LifeSource and the district will combine on the blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the main firehouse at 160 Hawley St. in downtown Grayslake. Fire officials said the need for blood is constant, which is why they hope for donors who can spend about 45 minutes at the event. While walk-ins are welcome, appointments are preferred.
