Add new rules to force a state budget

I just read the letter in the paper from January 16th written by James Fuller. State Treasurer Michael Frerichs says, don't expect an Illinois budget until after the election in November.

I asked myself how this is. I can't repeat what I said. But 18 months. We elected these people into office and they can't do the job they were voted to do.

This is just like when the state and Cook County held the tax bills before the election in 2010. Why? Because if you saw your tax bill before the election, those same people who held the tax bills would not be elected back into office.

Well, duh. This group of politicians will come up with a budget in the lame duck secession, I'll bet - when the election is over and we will have another two or four years to forget about the damage they have done again.

We need to add to the ballot that if you can't come up with a budget, you don't get paid and you cannot make any new laws.

How is it that the people of Illinois stand for this uncontrolled government? We just keep voting in the same people. Government is supposed to be by the people, for the people. Why is it politicians for the politicians by the politicians?

Look up the definition of insanity and the state of Illinois should be the definition.
