College financial aid programs at Schaumburg library

To help college-bound students and their parents fill out financial aid forms and search for scholarships, the Schaumburg Township District Library will hold two programs in February.

Both are free and are held in the Teen Place on the second floor of the main library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Experts from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission will help families complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid at the "FAFSA Drop-in" from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 6. Bring all relevant financial documents when you come.

Registration will be required for the second program, "The Scholarship Search" from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 20. To register, call (847) 923-3240.
