Antioch ice rink open

The Antioch ice rink, on the Toft Avenue in the west side of the municipal parking lot, has officially opened and is available for skating, weather permitting, daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. If the doors are locked the rink is closed. If that is the case for an extended time, information about the closure will be posted on the doors, at www.antioch.il.gov, and the village Facebook page. Hockey can be played only from 8 to 10 a.m. or 8 to 10 p.m., and a permit from the parks and recreation office is required. All groups interested in hockey ice time are required to have adult supervision and permit before using the ice. Hockey is prohibited during open skating. Contact the Antioch parks and recreation office at (847) 395-2160 or email at parks@antioch.il.gov.
