Randall Oaks Library welcomes local author Sarah Natale this Saturday

Meet local author Sarah Natale from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Randall Oaks Library, 500 N. Randall Road in West Dundee.

This 19-year-old Drake University student is currently pursuing a double major in creative writing and public relations. It will be the first in a series of author visits being held by the Fox River Valley Public Library District.

The Crystal Lake Central High graduate will share her experiences writing and securing a publisher for her first novel "The Kiss of Death," which started out as an assignment in her senior creative writing class. The book is a suspense-filled historical fiction with a hint of romance, which encompasses an outbreak of the bubonic plague in Medieval London in the year 1348.

Adults and teens are welcome. Just drop in.
