What is your vision for the future use of that site? The site should be passive open space. Plans for a cross-country course that would operate at a deficit are ridiculous.Do you support the push to keep the tax levies frozen for both the county board and forest preserve district? How long is it realistic for that freeze to remain in place? How long is it realistic to expect taxpayers to come up with more and more? Taxpayers can not afford more. I absolutely support keeping tax levies frozen. Please list any elected office you have ever run for and what the result of that election was. Have you ever been appointed to fill an unexpired term?I have unsuccessfully run for this position before as well as the Carpentersville board and the Dundee Township Park District board. I have never been appointed to fill an unexpired term. What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?I strongly oppose the Longmeadow Toll Bridge. It is an environmentally destructive project and a waste of taxpayer dollars. The Longmeadow boondoggle will have a negative impact of four lanes of traffic through the Brunner Forest Preserve--land taxpayers bought for 40 million dollars. I also oppose bow hunting in our forest preserves. It poses a public danger and is a very cruel and unacceptable use of our public lands. Kane County Board members do not serve as good stewards of the land owned by taxpayers--I will try and change that. Please name one current leader who most inspires you.Sad to say, none of our current leaders in government inspires me.What is the biggest lesson you learned at home growing up?To be kind to animals and to treat people fairly. If life gave you one do-over, what would you spend it on?I'm doing my best to answer these questions but honestly, what does this have to do with anything? I wish I could do-over this question! What was your favorite subject in school and how did it help you in later life?English. It helped me learn how to write and how to appreciate well-written words. If you could give your children only one piece of advice, what would it be?Find happiness in life.
