Lake County deputies graduate, ready to roll
Seven Lake County sheriff's deputies are about to start their jobs after graduating from a law enforcement school last week. Deputies Malcolm Canders, Christopher DeWitt, Tyler Girmscheid, Andrew Martini, Ricardo Navarro, Robert Rossetti and Jonathon Truell attended the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy at the College of DuPage. Martini received the prestigious George P. Graves Award for being selected as the most distinguished recruit by his fellow officers in the class. The deputies were hired by the Lake County Sheriff's Office in September and will begin a two-week training, followed by shadowing a field training officer in early January.
