Lockdown at Great Lakes unsubstantiated
Naval Station Great Lakes was on lockdown Tuesday afternoon while authorities investigated a report of a "troubled" individual on the installation, officials said.
But after determining the person wasn't there, the naval station resumed normal operations, according to a post on the station's Facebook page.
The lockdown lasted about an hour and affected the area near the recruit training command, ABC 7 reported.
The lockdown was lifted by about 2:45 p.m.
