Once again Santa has agreed to squeeze in a visit at the Reed-Turner Nature Center during his busy December. He will stop by from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13. The nature center will be decorated for the season to make Santa feel at home and to help visitors get into the holiday spirit.

Everyone is welcome to come and visit with Santa. He encourages families to bring three things:

• Your Christmas wish list (usually this is something that younger visitors bring but Santa has seen grandma and grandpa sneak in with their own lists.

• An unwrapped toy to help needy children have a happy Christmas morning.

• Your camera to capture the moments with Santa and your family.

The afternoon includes a craft corner with holiday themed projects for the younger set, along with snacks for kids, mom, dad and grandparents (and sometimes even great grandparents).

This annual event is a family tradition with many Reed-Turner guests. Come and make it and the pictures you take one of your favorite memories of the Christmas season.
