Daily Herald renews Believe Project for 31 days of December

Daily Herald Pay-it-forward effort to run all month, $100 at a time

Once again, it's time to believe.

It's time to believe in the kindness we can show each other when one of us is facing a difficult time, to believe in the generous spirit of someone with the means to help.

It's time for the Believe Project.

For the second holiday season, a donor working with the Daily Herald is giving $100 each day in December to a different person who wants the money only to help someone else.

Last month, we asked you to share with us how you would use $100 to make someone's life better. Our donor has chosen a number of the Believe Project recipients already, and we will start publishing their stories today — and every day this month.

But there still is a chance to get in on the fun.

If you have in mind someone for whom $100 would make a real difference this holiday season, visit events.dailyherald.com/believe-project/ and submit an entry.

Do it this week. Time is running out.

We hope you enjoy all the heartfelt stories and that one inspires you to do something nice for someone who really needs it.

Thanks for reading!
