More than 2,000 in Grant Park Little City walk

More than 2,000 people walked two miles along Chicago's lakefront on Sunday, Nov. 8, with proceeds from the fundraiser benefiting Little City in Palatine. The nonprofit's mission is to provide children and adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities the best options and opportunities to live safely, work productively, explore creatively and learn continuously throughout their lifetime.

The walk was part of the larger Hot Chocolate 5K/15K race held the same day in Grant Park. The Walk for Little City was an untimed walk and attracted people of all ages, including families with young children.
