Finch's Beer priming to bring some operations to Long Grove

Something new is about to start brewing in Long Grove. Literally.

Finch's Beer Co., which has called Chicago home since 2011, is bringing some of its operations to the old Geimer Greenhouse location at 2727 Route 53 in Long Grove.

Founder Ben Finch, a Long Grove resident, says the craft beer company is already operating a warehouse at the Long Grove location, and a retail to-go location is "coming soon," possibly in time for Christmas.

He says brewing operations will be coming to Long Grove late next year into early 2017, with brewing operations in the existing Chicago location at 4565 North Elston Ave. continuing through the end of 2016, and possibly even after the Long Grove location starts operating.

Finch says the company plans to incorporate the existing greenhouse structures into the plans.
