Palatine Jaycees to host Christmas Tree Sale

The Palatine Jaycees host their 56th annual Christmas tree Sale in the Palatine Park District Aquatic Center parking lot to raise funds to help individuals and civic groups throughout the area. The sale will begin Friday, Nov. 27, and runs weekends through Sunday, Dec. 20.

"We will be offering a variety of fresh-cut, long and short needle trees, wreaths and garland at special pricing," Rob Doty, the project's co-chair, said in a news release Wednesday. "Shoppers can choose from our selection of Scotch pine, Blue spruce, Balsam fir, Douglas fir and Fraser fir in a variety of sizes at competitive prices."

Hours on Black Friday are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Regular hours are 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays. The lot is on Palatine Road just west of Northwest Highway behind the Walgreens at 340 E. Palatine Road.
