Living room in need of a makeover

I would love to win a warm and inviting living room makeover to surprise my family. The state it is in now screams 1980s.

New flooring and furnishings would be just what this outdated room would need to bring this blast from the past to the present and make it a cozy spot to relax or entertain. I constantly complain about this room, so I know my family would be so excited if I were to win.

Budget:

To get this room ready for the holidays, we choose a frosty, red and white, whimsical, yet elegant decor. We would move the circular table in the corner next to the nearby chair, then place a Treetime 7½-foot, pre-lit flocked Scotch pine in the corner.

Because the tree is beautiful on its own, we would add just a simple large red velvet ribbon and a swirl of mixed berry and glitter picks. On the table by the chair we would place a vintage Santa with a reindeer and sleigh.

For the coffee table, we created a sparkling centerpiece with a Treetime 24-inch pre-lit, flocked scotch wreath with glass candle holders, a polar bear, furry hedgehogs, various red ornaments and snowflakes.

On the wall we would add two wooden vintage Santa panels on each side of the clock.

Suggestions:
