Craft fair to support Warren High Band

The Warren Township High School Band Boosters will host the 21st annual fundraiser craft fair.

The event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Almond Campus, 34090 Almond Road in Gurnee. Proceeds from the annual fundraiser go to support the many bands at both the O'Plaine and Almond Campuses, including the marching band, symphonic I, symphonic II, concert I, concert II and numerous jazz bands.

For the 2015-16 school year, there are 260 students enrolled in the various bands, with the Warren Township High School Blue Devil Marching Band being one of the largest high school marching bands in the state.

There will be more than 100 crafters and vendors, offering a wide variety items. The show includes a bake sale, raffle and concession stand along with a midday performance by one of Warren's jazz bands.

Admission and parking are free. New for this year - those attending the fair who bring one or more friends, along with the craft show flier available for printing on the booster website, will receive free raffle tickets for themselves and their friends. The fliers are also being passed out at all home football games.
