Officials: Five people hospitalized after Long Grove crash
Five people were hospitalized after a four-vehicle crash in Long Grove on Friday afternoon near Hicks and Robert Parker Coffin roads, authorities said.
Another three people declined treatment at the scene, according to the Long Grove Fire Protection District.
One driver had to be extricated because the driver's door was crushed, a fire district news release said.
It is unclear what caused the crash, which happened about 12:30 p.m., but the accident is under investigation.
