Arlington Hts. anti-heroin group on 'Today Show'

Heroin awareness group Live4Lali was featured on "The Today Show" Tuesday morning in a segment highlighting work the nonprofit has done to stop overdoses in the suburbs.

In the four-minute clip, Chelsea Laliberte of Palatine and Genevieve Przybylo of Arlington Heights are seen training the Arlington Heights Police Department on how to use Naloxone, a drug that can stop an overdose and save lives.

The morning show also interviews a Prospect Heights police officer who saved a man from an overdose using the drug earlier this year.

The clip gives some background on the group, founded by Laliberte and her mother after her brother, Alex, died of an overdose a few years ago. Watch the clip at www.today.com/video/hope-to-it-saving-lives-from-drug-overdoses-with-a-reversal-injection-539382851659.
