Wishes Really Do Come True Thanks To An Amazing Organization!

Park Campus student Logan Randazzo's wishes came true this past week thanks to the amazing organization "Make A Wish!"

Logan and his family will be traveling to Disney World the week of October 11th, 2015, on a magical week long vacation filled with everything imaginable! They will be staying at a special villa created just for Make A Wish families, have access to all the Disney Parks, as well as Universal and Sea World. Make A Wish has truly thought of everything to make this trip extremely memorable, and they could not be more thankful to Make A Wish and everyone who donates to this special organization!

Logan's wish came true as a result of a disease he fights each and every day. When Logan was just three months old, he was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis, a life threatening disease in which the life expectancy is currently 37 years old. Since the day of diagnosis, Logan has spent hours a day hooked to a machine to clear his lungs of the mucus build up caused by CF. He has spent weeks in the hospital fighting off infections through intravenous antibiotics. He also takes countless pills each day to help his body digest the food he eats. In addition, Logan spends his nights hooked up to a feeding tube so that his body can receive extra nutrition and calories to make up for those lost as it fights harder to stay healthy.

Through all of this struggle, Logan stays positive and never complains about the extra things he has to do. He maintains an active lifestyle, participating in flag football, soccer, basketball and baseball. These activities not only are fun for him, but they also help his lungs stay clear.

Because of Logan's hard work to stay healthy and positive outlook, his wishes will be coming true! His family is beyond excited and thankful to this amazing organization. They also remain hopeful that one day their ultimate wish will come true, a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Until that day happens, they will continue to help Logan fight and appreciate each and every day!
