Dold vote a betrayal to his party
When politicians like U.S. Rep. Robert Dold abandon their party's core ideology to win re-election one asks oneself "What will they do when they come for you?"
How grounded is he in his own personal beliefs and his connection to his party and constituents? Apparently not at all. He is making a huge mistake in his calculated decision to go to the other side and support funding for Planned Parenthood.
His reasoning is weak in light of the many other agencies involved in women's health services. This goes directly to "character."
If I were a Democrat, I would not want guys like this on my side for anything, including the annual picnic.
Shame on us for voting for him. What have we become?
More ammo for the term limits crowd, myself included. Mr. Dold does not have the right stuff to do my bidding in Washington, D.C.
