Learn about Green City Market at Stevenson Center Sept. 27

Representatives from Chicago's Green City Market will share the story of the organization at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, at the Stevenson Center on Democracy, 25200 N. St. Mary's Road, Mettawa.

The independent nonprofit market was founded in 1998 to encourage local, sustainable agriculture. Board member Elizabeth Richter and Executive Director Melissa Flynn will discuss market activities and its mission. Coffee and conversation will follow the presentation.
