A pair of Wisconsin wins for Warren
Warren's boys soccer team had a successful day in the Indian Trail tournament in Kenosha, Wis., Saturday.
The Blue Devils ran their overall record to 8-1-1 by shutting out Kenosha Tremper 4-0 and routing Kenosha Bradford 8-1.
Kody Anderson scored twice against Tremper, while Jacob Luka and Hugo Flores also scored. Alex Fratila added a pair of assists, while Jack Tully and Bryan Galvan also assisted on goals. Blair McCormick and Jeffrey Pioquinto shared the shutout in net.
Martin Fuentes scored a hat trick, including one goal on a penalty kick, and added an assist against Bradford. Ivan Esquivel, Ricky Flores, Matt Haight, Hugo Flores and Anderson also scored. Fratila had 2 assists for the second game in a row. Hugo Flores, Esquivel, Galvan and Noe Rodriguez also had assists.
Wauconda 3, Crystal Lake Central 3: Teddy Kolarov converted a pair of penalty kicks for Wauconda in its nonconference tie.
Max Berthold also scored, with Raffe Consalvo earning the assist.
Highland Park 4, Grayslake Central 0: The Giants scored twice in each half of the nonconference match.
