Rondout hosts recycling event

Rondout Elementary School, 28593 N. Bradley Road, Lake Forest, will be the site of a community recycling event Saturday, Sept. 12, 9 a.m. to noon. The free event for Lake County residents is sponsored by the Libertyville Noon Rotary Club, Rondout School and the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County. Items that will be accepted for recycling are shoes: all types of footware (tie laces or rubber-band pairs), excluding roller skates, ice skates and winterboots; eyeglasses and hearing aids; cellphones: all brands and styles of cellular phones.
