No clues in sexual assault case

Arlington Heights police still have no clues on who sexually assaulted a female resident at an assisted living and retirement community last week.

Cmdr. Nathan Hayes said Tuesday police still do not yet have a description of the offender, or many leads into the assault case, which was reported to have occurred about 10:40 p.m. last Thursday at Church Creek, located near Central Road and Dwyer Avenue. Police believe the offender entered through an unlocked window.

"Nothing's changed since last week," Hayes said. "We're still digging into it."

The woman was treated at a hospital, but police would not release her current condition.

Those with information are asked to call police at (847) 368-5300 or Crime Stoppers at (847) 590-STOP or ahcrimestoppers.org.
